Eagle Transmission is truly a great business in a day and age of many poor mechanic shops. My mother in law has a 2002 Ford Explorer that has had the transmission rebuilt twice previously by two other local transmission shops. Both times the rebuilds failed within a year. She drives less than 10000 miles a year and is not hard on the vehicle. This time I took the Explorer to Eagle Transmission based on a recommendation of a friend. Eagle was very professional and also a great value. We felt like a valued customer and were informed of the progress of the vehicle every step of the way. The job was actually finished ahead of schedule and we can already tell a difference in how the Explorer drives. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for an honest, reliable and affordable place to have your transmission fixed! Google User
I was in town from Houston visiting family in the area and my check engine light had just come on. In my total panic and worry of driving 3.5 hours back home, I stopped in to Eagle Transmission to have them check it out. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the honesty and patience I received. I was concerned that I would get the "female" treatment, and that was NOT the case at all!! The staff there was so kind and quickly helped me get back on the road again safely. I would HIGHLY recommend Eagle Transmission to anyone in (or even outside) the area! Google User
I took my 2002 Ford Explorer to Cottman Transmission because it did not feel like it was shifting correctly after second gear. The service rep. was very nice and offered to inspect my vehicle free of charge, soooo I dropped it off. Later that afternoon, I get a call stating that there was a bad shift between 3/4 gear and there definitely was a problem inside that transmission. For a fee, they can remove it and inspect it further. He explained that they only want to replace the parts that are broken in order to save me some money. My husband and I discussed this and felt like we needed a second opinion. We were deeply concerned that we would be "stuck" if they took apart our transmission and we potentially get a call stating it will be thousands of dollars to repair. PLUS we would still owe them the inspection fee if we decided not to fix it. We told Cottman that we would think about it and picked up our vehicle. A friend of my husband works for Carmax and he recommended that we take our vehicle to Eagle Transmission. We scheduled an appointment and dropped off our vehicle the next afternoon. Eagle called us after an hour and told us that they found a bad solenoid pack (which is apparently common on these types of transmissions) and the cost to replace it was just under $500. Needless to say, we were ecstatic! Vehicle was fixed by the next day and drove great! It's been about a month since our vehicle was fixed and I just received a call from the owner of Eagle Transmission. He wanted to make sure that everything was working ok and asked me to rate their level of customer service and provide him feedback on anything that they could improve. Wow! Someone actually taking the initiative to follow-up with their customers shows me that they really do care. I highly recommend this place! Google User

Wow, I couldn't be more impressed with such a professional operation! I was told by my mechanic that I probably had a transmission problem and they referred me to Eagle Transmission. I called to see when I could bring my truck in and they said that they had a complementary tow service, so that made it even easier. The tow service came out to my place and picked up my truck on Thursday and Eagle called me on Friday saying that they did a full inspection and that my problem wasn't with the transmission, but rather with my fuel system. When I went in to pick up my truck, they wouldn't charge me a penny! In fact, the manager, Ken, told me that while they normally ask to be reimbursed for the towing charge, he forgot to mention that to me and that, under no circumstance, would he allow me to pay for the towing!!!
How refreshing!!! Kudos to Ken and Cedar Park Eagle Transmissions!!!! Yelp
Great, honest folks at Eagle. I had 3 check engine codes, 2 of them on expensive transmission parts. These guys looked at it, found a simple problem and repaired. They also reset the light, and tested my Durango multiple times to make sure the light did not come back on. Then, when I came back to pick it up, they didnt charge me anything. Wow. My highest recommendation to Eagle. Thanks for making my van work better than when we bought it 5 years ago with 30K miles in it. It's a pleasure driving it now. Yelp
